Underwater painting scene = Drawing to create the illusion of depth by overlapping, using a variety of sizes, and letting images escape the border of the paper.

Jump Rope for Heart "Heart of Honor"

3rd and 4th grade students could honor someone or jump in memory of someone in their family who had heart disease or other illnesses.  They put the name of their loved one on the small one which was then placed on the large heart in the gym.

Elementary PE classes for March 17-21

Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade classes- Finish up throwing unit with some throwing games.  Will be starting tumbling unit next week.

3rd grade- Sportstacking


4th, 5th, and 6th grade classes- Start Archery unit


5th and 6th grade students will still have their Live Healthy Iowa exercise sheets to keep track of exercise minutes.

Our second round of cross country skiing did not pan out as we had hoped to but the warmer, nicer weather was well worth it.  Next year!

Overhand and underhand throwing skills used with activities and games

3rd-4th grade PE- Long Jump Rope/Sportstacking Unit

5th-6th grade PE- Long Jump Rope/Sportstacking Unit
We will also start cross country skiing again on Friday.
Students should come dressed for the outdoors
