Wednesday, December 15: K-3rd and 5th-6th grades walking
                                           4th grade shooting baskets for winning the "Pack the Gym" award.

Jacobson Elementary Walking Program for Tuesday, December 7,14,and 21

Belmond Medical Center employees are coming on Tuesdays in December to walk with the students.  We want to show our support for the BMC healthcare workers so be sure to come and walk with these people.   We  will be having a drawing on Tuesday, December 21 for prizes from the BMC.  Any student that walks on the days that the BMC employees are here, can sign up for this drawing.

"Pack the Gym" December 10 at Jacobson Elementary Walking Program

Next Friday, December 10, we will be having” “Pack the Gym” morning for the walking program.  There will be a competition to see what grade level can get the highest percentage of participants to the walking program that morning.  The winning grade level will get to shoot baskets on Monday, December 13 during the walking program. 

Parents and grandparents that come and walk can also be counted towards their child's/grandchild's grade level for participation.  Let's all "Pack the Jacobson Gym" on December 10!

Activities for November 30-December 21

Kindergarten: Ball Dribbling Stations and Dribbling Skill Testing; Winter Holiday Games; all classes will have earned their free day by December 21 for good behavior. 

1st Grade: Ball Dribbling Stations; Ball Dribbling Skill Testing; Winter Holiday Games; all classes will have earned their free day by December 21 for good behavior

2nd Grade: Ball Dribbling games; Ball dribbling Skill testing; Winter Holiday Games; all classes will have earned their free day by December 21 for good behavior

3rd Grade: Basketball Unit

4th Grade: Bowling Unit and starting Basketball Unit

5th and 6th Grade: Bowling Unit and finishing Floor Hockey Unit
We will have another PE locker cleanout by December 21.

Starting on December 7 and then also December 14 and 21, the employees of the Belmond Medical Center will be here to walk with the students during our walking program time.  We will also have a drawing from the BMC for some prizes.

5th and 6th grade Bowling Fieldtrips

6^th grade Bowling Fieldtrip

     As part of our PE curriculum, the 6^th grade students will be going bowling on December 7^th and 15^th at the Sparetime Lanes bowling alley from 8:30-10:30 a.m.  The cost to each student is $4.00.  Students may bring their money to the Jacobson Elementary office at any time during school hours before December 7th.
